Formal Partnerships

  • Pacific Northwest Laboratory, US Department of Energy:  We have received two grants for technical assistance from a multi-disciplinary team at PNL.

  • Idaho National Laboratory Hydropower Program, US Department of Energy:  INL partnered in 2007 with Puget Sound Tidal Power LLC, our previous company, in a proposal to the US Dept. of Defense to develop small turbines and to conduct a national resource assessment. 

  • Ricardo, Inc.:  We have a signed agreement for with Ricardo Inc. for cooperation in technology development focused on generators and gear systems for turbines.

  • Prof. Bruce Adee, Ocean Engineering, University of Washington:  We are working with Prof. Adee on small turbine prototypes.

  • Mera Technologies, Inc.:  We are working with Mera Tech on generator designs
