Economic Region. PNWER helps US-Canada cooperation and
policy development, and has an
ocean energy work group.

Dr. Mike Williamson, President,
Williamson and Associates Inc. Mike has
decades of ocean engineering and specialized marine technical and electronic
design experience. His company conducts ocean surveys and builds
advanced systems such as deep-sea drilling robots.

Rob Reuter, P.E.,
Washington
Department of Ecology. Rob is experienced with environmental
permitting, pollution prevention, geotechnical analysis including
hydraulics, clean technology development and networks, and state
environmental and water policy.

Prof. Bruce Adee,
Ocean Engineering, University of Washington: Dr. Adee is a naval
architect and engineer who directed the Ocean Engineering Program at the UW
for fifteen years. He now directs the Human-Powered Submersible annual
course and international race team.

Dr. Vladimir Shepsis, President,
Coast and Harbor Engineering Inc.:
Dr. Shepsis is one of the world's great coastal engineers and has developed
highly efficient models for estimating current velocities and potential
power generation.

John Devine, President,
Mera Technologies, Inc.:
John has many years experience in marine equipment and industries and his
company now builds permanent-magnet direct-drive generators.

Tracy Carroll, co-founder,
FlexCar. Tracy has decades of
experience with energy conservation and home electric systems. He
co-founded Flexcar and helped launch it into the fastest-growing car-share
company in the USA.

Stephen Norman, Executive
Director, King County
Housing Authority. Stephen directs a staff of over 400 people and
a budget of $150M to provide housing to 17,000 families and households
around the County. He is tremendously experienced with public
agencies, stakeholder negotiations, and policy development.
